The Spencer County Republican Women met March 12th. Kristi Risk was our special guest speaker. Also present was Amanda Borders with the Rick Santorum Presidential campaign. Both speakers were well informed and available to give us updates  as to how the campaigns were going.

In other business, It was decided that we needed to hold some fundraisers this year so we could help our local candidates in their bids for election. Tentative dates were selected with June 15 and 16 for a yard sale at Republican Headquarters in Rockport. Also, August 4th was selected for the next Ladies' Tea. All dates are tentative and will be discussed at the next meeting.

President Kathy Rudisill told the members that the IFRW is willing to come to Southern Indiana to hold a training seminar if we are willing to put it together. It was suggested that she call the other clubs and see if they are willing to come together and what their thoughts are on this subject. Results will be brought up at the next meeting.

Meeting was turned over to our speakers and then we adjourned. Next meeting is April 9th at 6:00 pm at Republican Headquarters Rockport.
